Objectives
- Remember that ‘o’ is a vowel
- Know how to say the short / ŏ / and long / ō /
- Be able to hear the difference between these short and long /o/ sounds
- Remember key pictures and words ‘ŏctopus’ and ‘ōcean’.
- Know how to write capital and lower case ‘Oo’. Now that this is different from zero i.e. 0, which is a skinny O.
- Be able to differentiate between sounds /ĕ/, /ē/, /ĭ/, / ī / and /ŏ/, /ō/
- Learn a few interesting facts about octopus.
